Dr. Kranthi Kiran also served as a consultant psychiatrist for the United States Armed Forces, including the elite U.S. Navy SEALS and U.S. Marines. He was also a consultant psychiatrist for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and treated several veterans suffering from combat-related Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Dr. Kranthi Kiran is certified for the administration of electroconvulsive therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation. He treated hundreds of patients using brain stimulation techniques over several years to help mood disorders and psychosis. He was a consultant psychiatrist for medical, surgical, and intensive care units in several hospitals in the USA over a span of 20 years. He had a very busy outpatient practice and also ran dual diagnosis programs for patients with alcoholism and other substance use disorders. Now, through online psychiatric consultations, Dr. Kranthi Kiran continues to provide expert guidance and support to patients globally.
